LaGrange High School Families and Friends

Since its establishment in 1903, LaGrange High School has continuously evolved to provide students with an educational experience that compares to none other. People often ask, What does it mean to be a Granger? In simple terms, a Granger is a Champion. However, a true Granger is a “Champion” in Leadership, Honor, Service, and Character. Over the years, our school has witnessed the successes of countless students who have achieved remarkable feats in various walks of life. This tradition of success defines us as Grangers and fuels our determination to provide an unparalleled learning environment for each student who passes through our doors.

At LaGrange High School, we subscribe to a belief that one must possess G.R.I.T. The idea that Greatness Requires Intentional Toughness. We constantly challenge ourselves with a common question: What are you chasing? Is it greatness or mediocrity? Every decision, big or small, can positively impact ourselves and the community we serve. We encourage our students to chase greatness over mediocrity with a mindset of intentionality, knowing that greatness comes at a cost.

LaGrange High School takes great pride in offering a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum of study that prepares students for the challenges of the modern world. Students are exposed to various courses of study, which include over 15 Advanced Placement options, an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, and extensive Dual Enrollment options. Our dedicated faculty members strive to ensure that each student receives personalized attention while fostering their intellectual curiosity, critical thinking skills, and love for learning. We continuously strive to provide an inclusive environment that supports every student's unique abilities and talents.

Alongside academics, the “Spirit of a Champion” is celebrated across our school community's vast athletics and arts program. Granger’s sports teams have consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Through participating in various sporting events, our students learn the value of discipline, perseverance, and serving others. We encourage all students to explore our diverse athletics and arts opportunities and discover their passion within those programs.
