The PTO

The LHS PTO meets on the first Monday of each academic month at 5:15 pm in Room 110 at LHS. If the first Monday of the month falls on a holiday, then the meeting is moved to the second Monday of the month. We encourage all parents of LHS students to join the PTO and be active in the PTO activities.

LaGrange High School has a very active PTO and this year we are again striving to attain Model PTO Program status. Our mission is to help improve the relationship between teachers, administrators, parents, students, and the community. The PTO works to foster volunteerism and involvement of parents in school activities. Not many high schools can boast about the parental support that they receive, but LHS certainly can. The amount of time and effort that our many PTO volunteers put into the support of LHS activities and functions, adhere to the fact that parents of LaGrange High students really do care and put their full support behind their child's school. We also support LHS by providing supplemental materials, supplies, and funding to facilitate the school's mission of academic excellence for all students.

PTO funds are utilized to directly benefit our students, faculty, and support personnel. The goal of our organization is to maintain an environment of excellence in academics, student life, and faculty/staff support. We are dependent upon our fundraisers such as membership, discount cards and t-shirt sales to provide financial support for our students and our school.
